"Looking for a place to eat in Myrtle Beach upon arrival into the area on a Saturday, we found Benny's. Appeared smallish and family owned from the outside. Perfect!_When we entered, was asked if we had a reservation. Replied no. Owner/host (?) looked at his seating arrangement and said he was expecting a full house but was able to seat us two. Good thing, because shortly after seating us and ordering, the reservation crowd came in and there were a couple of turn-aways due to no tables available._In all, wait staff was southern excellent, attentive and professional. Our plates were excellent Italian dishes and we left very satisfied. When in Myrtle Beach, make a reservation and give Benny's a try._Locals must have known something we didn't!"

"Benny's is one of those places that is more than it looks. The food is excellent. They also do standard Italian fare that is not listed on their menu. We found that reservations are a big help, as they stay pretty busy and no wait seating isn't a given. The dining area feels intimate without being cramped. It's not very big, but the table arraignments make it seem like everyone is in their own little cubby, even in the middle of the open room. Drinks are a bit expensive, I think, but they are excellent, and also optional. If you have room after the main meal, deserts are stellar. Personally, I have to choose between an appetizer or desert, because there's not enough room for both. Service is some of the best we've had in NMB, with our servers being fast, informative, and most of all friendly. This is the place that we save for special occasions, because it is totally worth it."

"From start to finish this was probably my best experience this week in Myrtle Beach. My girlfriend’s birthday was today and we were craving Italian and Benny’s knocked it out of the park with ease. I should be ashamed of myself for not remembering the server because she couldn’t be rated higher. Excellent at every point. The food speaks for itself. A chef striving to provide what otherwise can only be faked and attempted by the big box Italian near by. The mussels were to die for. Tomato onion mozzarella salad was unforgettable. The entrees were not only outstanding portions but made with subtle care to the point of disbelief. The veal and the bolognese are as real as it gets. Just don’t leave without the tiramisu. ❤️ Don’t walk RUN. From a fellow cook"
